About my book:
Headwinds is the story of surviving the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, losing my little sister Katie on 9/11, and twenty-five years later, riding my bicycle 3,000 miles across America in her memory. But it is ultimately a story about the headwinds we all encounter - and what we choose to do when life doesn't go according to plan.
About me:
I spent more than three decades at the intersection of energy and finance, leading teams through growth, change, and disruption. Throughout my career, I have frequently published articles exploring leadership, grief, resilience, and faith. A survivor of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Patrick lost my younger sister, Katie, in the September 11 attacks. In 2026, I bicycled nearly 3,000 miles across the United States in her memory, raising more than $113,000 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Though raised on Long Island, I have lived in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for 27 years with my wife, Mariana, and our two sons, Shane and Jonathan. I hold an Executive MBA from the University of Florida. Headwinds is my first book.
